Top 10 FAQs
Using Agility 3, can I connect with the Configuration Software when I’m using the Cloud?
Yes you can do that, but when the cloud is activated the only way to connect Agility 3 with the C/S is to use the cloud itself, requiring only that the PC be connected to the internet.
When an alarm occurs I receive the notification, but when I log into my web profile/mobile app I can’t view the image taken by the PIR Cam.
Please note that the forwarding of the image from the panel to the cloud server will take some time — generally, not more than 3 – 4 minutes. Also note that higher quality images mean bigger files, which take more time to be forwarded.
Can I use the repeater with the Agility panel?
Yes you can use the repeater with Agility, but only with one way transmitters and without allocating the repeater in the panel, because the one way repeater does not have a unique serial number and so the panel is unable to recognize it. Refer to the Wireless Repeater instruction for more information.
How I can upgrade Agility 2.xx to Agility 3.xx?
The Agility 3 system uses different hardware than that used by Agility 2 in order to manage video and image transmissions; therefore Agility 2 panels and keypads cannot be upgraded to Agility 3. All other Agility devices can be seamlessly used with Agility 3, so in order to upgrade a system to Agility 3 only the panel and keypads must be changed.
Is it possible to use the iRisco app with Agility 3?
Yes. Connecting an Agility 3 solution with the iRisco app installed to the Risco Cloud enables the end user to view the PIR Cam detector photos.
Is it possible to define the PIR Cam detector as an exit/ entry zone?
Yes, it's possible from Agility version 3.70 and later. Define the PIR Cam as an exit / entry zone as follows: 1. When the zone is triggered the camera immediately records images. 2. When an alarm event is triggered (after exit / entry time) the images are transfered to the Agility panel. Disarming the panel during the entry time suppresses transfer of those photos to the panel.
The panel doesn't report to follow me destinations during alarm
Generally, this issue arises because the parameter 'Disarm Stop Follow Me' is defined as YES. As such, in case of an alarm event, the panel is broadcasting to the follow-me destination, but if during this time the user disarms the panel, then the alarm report will be cancelled by the panel.
How can I upgrade the panel firmware remotely?
In order to upgrade the panel remotely, it is required to set the IP address of the of the relevant server. This operation can be done via GPRS and/or IP.
May I use the barrier and long range lenses for the pet immunity ?
No, the only lenes available for pet immunity are the wide angle lenses. The barrier and long range lenses cannot have the pet immunity because the limitations imposed by their restricted angle of detection. Enabling a pet immunity function would compromise their abilities.
The range of WatchOUT detection is much lower than expected
Check that the detector is truly perpendicular to the ground. Also note that in specific environments and seasonal periods, the range may slightly change from the product specification (15 meters with wide angle lens) due to PIR detection technology.
